FX Gagnon, the owner of West Coast Educational Adventures Ltd. and West Coast Canyoning Adventures, has been an international adventure guide for over two decades, specializing in a range of outdoor activities such as backcountry skiing, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, and canyoning. With a passion for sharing the beauty and excitement of the outdoors with others, FX founded West Coast Educational Adventures to provide clients with engaging and meaningful outdoor experiences.

FX's goal is to establish West Coast Educational Adventures as a leader in outdoor education, promoting experiential learning and challenging clients in a mindful and safe manner. With his extensive experience and passion for the outdoors, FX is a dedicated guide who will be with clients every step of the way, helping them to overcome their fears, break down barriers, and gain the skills and confidence they need to pursue a sustainable and independent adventure. Whether it's practicing first aid, learning avalanche safety, or figuring out how to roll a kayak, FX's passion and expertise will ensure that clients have the best possible learning experience.

West Coast Educational Adventures (WCEA) is dedicated to providing the highest quality outdoor education programs. To ensure this, most of its programs are accredited by recognized outdoor organizations such as the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG), Canadian Avalanche Association (CAA), Outdoors Council of Canada (OCC), Leave No Trace Canada, Paddle Canada, and Canyon Guide International. By adhering to the standards set by these organizations, WCEA is able to offer programs that are safe, effective, and align with the best practices in the industry.
